- THE CLUB REGISTRATION SCHEME -
For further details refer to Historic Registration page
As of July 1st 2017 there have been changes to the Club Registration Scheme (Historic Registration).  The main change is for a rolling 30 year qualification and the other is that modifications from the original specification will now be allowed. The Club Registrar needs to verify the build date, which should be on the existing registration paper.
As the car owner & driver, what you need to do is - present the car* (or a photo of car and ID or Compliance plate) and registration papers at a Club meeting held on the 3rd Wednesday every month at the Clubrooms, 262 Tapleys Hill Rd. Seaton or at Coffee & Cars every 3rd Sunday 8 to 10 am at Unley Shopping Centre.
You will need to be a financial member of the BMWDCSA prior to applying for Registration - there is a $10 fee to cover the cost of the logbook & administration, payable at the time of issue (extra books for additional cars cost $10 each).
Registration allows for 90 days Conditional use per year.  Motor Vehicle Registration will cost approximately $90 per year (Renewal can be for 12, 24, or 36 months) plus your Club membership subscription if you are not an existing member.
*Your car and log book will need to be seen within each 12 month period from your starting date by a Club Registrar or Committee member at a meeting or event.
NOTE:- If your Club membership lapses, your car is unregistered & uninsured (even if you have filled in the log book!).
