Our Adelaide Hills Poker Run is a relaxed social motoring event that combines a spectacular drive (approx 100km) through the Adelaide Hills, with a touch of friendly competition, and some problem solving.

The starting point is the Car Park for Wombat Waterhole Playground, off Howard Terrace, Hazelwood Park. Be there at 9:30 for a 10am start.

The poker run will commence from the start point, where you will collect your first card, and a clue. Solving the clue will reveal the location for the second point, where you will recieve your second clue, and another card, and so on. Collect all five cards to see who has the winning poker hand at the end of the day, over lunch at the lunch stop.

For those who don't want to do the run and participate in the competition, but would like to join us for lunch, feel free to meet at the lunch stop at 12:30, just email events@bmwdcsa.org.au for the destination.

This cruise will take place after the Marion BMWs, Coffee and Club Rego has concluded and travel North to Fort Largs along beachside roads for a late morning coffee or early lunch. Various styles of food outlets are within the centre with many seating options available.

Meet at D.OSE Coffee, 808 Marion Rd Marion (near Good Guys) at 10am for a 10:30am departure.

Come and enjoy the serenity!

Starting from the Feathers Hotel carpark (516 Glynburn Rd, Burnside) at 10am we will head off for a relaxed drive through the Adelaide Hills to Strathalbyn.

At Strath we will visit the Gilbert's Motor Museum or the numerous old wares stores and grab a coffee before heading down to the Keen's Residence in Goolwa.

As part of our Charity Fund Raising for this year, attendance will require a $10 donation per person.

A BBQ lunch will be provided by the club while you sit on the deck and watch the wildlife and generally enjoy the serenity. If you have any special dietary requirements please send an email to events@bmwdcsa.org.au

As Monday is a public holiday you are welcome to bring your tent or if you are quick, book one of our two guest rooms, stay the night and enjoy a gourmet breakfast. If you want to stay overnight please send an email to events@bmwdcsa.org.au

Coonawarra Tour (03/10/2026)

October Long Week End Coonawarra Tour

Join with other members for a tour of the Coonawarra region.

Starting on Saturday morning in Tailem Bend we will head down to Keith for lunch, then on to Naracoorte to experience a tour of the Victoria Caves, before going on to Penola where we will have accomodation for the weekend.

We will have dinner on the Saturday night at the Royal Oak Hotel.

Sunday will involve a short drive to Mt Gambier, where we will have an Aquifer tour at the blue Lake, visit the Umpherston Sink Hole and enjoy a relaxed lunch at the Jens Hall Hotel.

In the afternoon we will have a tour of the May Mackillop Centre and after an afternoon of free time make our way to the Hollicks Estate Winery for an exclusive dinner.

Monday morning we will head for home via Beachport and Robe and stop at Kingston SE for lunch.

All this for an estimated cost of only $445 per person* (based on twin shared room)

Rooms are limited so an initial payment of $100 per person is required to secure you place on this great weekend
