I have repaired and re registered dozens of repairable write offs requiring paint panel beating and some to be modified for my sons daily drivers.

 My main focus in detailing is paint defect rectification, but over the years of buying and selling cars became dissatisfied with car detailers who believe a thick coating of armour all will fix all issues within a week the armour all is dried and the interiors looks the same as prior to spending the money, cars returned with almost irreparable swirl marks, edges of paint burnt or buffed through.

 My talk will be mostly for older cars starting with exterior cleaning and paint correction, what to do and not to do for paint longevity, sharpening up edges for that as close to new look, closing with question time and then discuss the day of practical at 4 Gidgie Court Edinburgh SA 5111

Speaker Background

I started working on FJs and other projects with my older brother (panel beater/ painter) from age 10. 

At 17 I worked for Barry Skinner (Skinners Motaland) Port road Cheltenham

 Worked for Eddy Cubit (Festival City Motors)

 Worked for Bob Dawes (Bob Dawes Motors)

 At the same time moonlighting in crash shops and buying and selling cars.

 I have restored Many early holdens and a Camaro, and helped with many restorations for friends.

 Moved into transport at age 24 but always kept and restored cars as a hobby up to now.
